Older plans (Personal, Team, Agency, API Starter/Builder/Scale) stay valid but are not sold again; Free accounts moved to the Trial

You might be here because: “my plan isn’t on the pricing page anymore” · “I’m on Personal, is it going away” · “can I go back to the free plan” · “my free plan changed to the trial” · “why am I on the trial now” · “why can’t I choose API Builder” · “what happens to my old plan”

Short answer

The plans sold before the 2026-09 catalog — Personal, Team, Agency, API Starter, API Builder and API Scale — remain valid for the accounts that hold them, with exactly the limits they had, but are not offered again. Free is the exception: every account that held Free moved to a 7-day Trial. The plans on sale now are Starter, Pro and Team, with Scale and Enterprise by contact.

Check first

  • Billing shows your current plan name. If it is one of the names above, you are on a legacy plan and nothing changes until you choose to move.
  • If your account held Free, Billing now shows the Trial and the date it ends.

Likely causes and fixes

  1. “My plan isn’t listed on the pricing page.” Correct — legacy plans are kept, not sold. Your limits are unchanged. No action needed.
  2. “I want to switch to a new plan.” Any time, from Billing (see Change plan: upgrades take effect now and are prorated, downgrades at renewal). A move to a bigger plan takes effect straight away and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period; a smaller plan takes effect at renewal. Note: once you leave a legacy plan you cannot buy it back.
  3. “My account had Free and now says Trial.” Every account that held Free moved to the Trial, which runs for 7 days from the move; Billing shows the end date. Nothing in the account was deleted: your profiles, proxies and settings are kept. During the Trial, sessions follow the Trial’s limits (see How the free trial works and what it includes). When it ends you can still sign in and see everything, but starting a session needs a plan. An account that has not chosen a plan 30 days after its Trial ended may be deleted, after an email at least 7 days before.
  4. “Can I go back to the free plan?” No. Free is no longer offered and no account moves back to it: new accounts start on the Trial, and an account with no paid plan stays on the ended Trial, not Free.
  5. “Does Personal have AI?” No. The Personal plan has no AI agent: not on included credits and not on your own provider key. Credits already on the account are not taken away, but they cannot be used while the account is on Personal, and no new monthly credits are added. To use the AI agent, move to a current plan.

If it still fails

If Billing shows a plan you never chose, or a price that does not match what you signed up for, press Talk to a person in this chat (or open Help) and include your account email and a screenshot of Billing. Plan corrections and billing disputes are performed by a person.
